The media is there to keep people to account for their actions, that is part of a free society.
If they defame people they are held to account through the courts.

The problem with this country is that there is an assumption that anyone who has served in the military is untouchable in the court of public opinion.
When clearly, through recent military investigations, they all most certainly shouldn't be.
