From about 1968-70 onward the mass media reporting on an individual account changed everything. Prior to that it may have been only Army reporters were allowed near the front so we got a biased or somewhat pro military propaganda...I think mankind has not changed so much...The ADF has a mix of people..Some honest and some not trustworthy...It does appear that a cowboy culture developed in some sections of the SAS and they then needed to maintain the facade...at all costs...I am unsure if this is good or not...
