Solid presentation today by Syrah's Sait Uysal in California. The crowd at Benchmark Graphite Supply Chain 2016 was, as expected, somewhat skeptical about some of the claims and assertions. The attendance of the event included a significant amount of established and junior companies in the graphite sector, so the rivalry was to be expected.
During Q&A Sait managed to maintain his ground and had the help of a Syrah newcomer called Shaun Verner (former BHP guy, but I just chatted briefly to him afterwards so I 'm not too certain of his Syrah role).
Even the Chinese companies present seem to have a cautious deference towards Syrah. Hopefully management will continue to work hard to deserve such respect and admiration.
