Hi @Maigret1 - hope you're good - have always appreciated your comments here and elsewhere.
BB's comments were said more in light and a response to other advanced Cobalt Explorers releasing their various feasibility studies, as you would know in particular COB, CLQ and the market reaction consequently.
I wouldn't attribute these comments linked to Opuwo
Brendan is savvy and in my opinion he knows the market reaction if Capex involved with Opuwo was exhorbitantly high.
Don't forget Celsius will still need to get funding for Opuwo - what are the chances of getting $6/$7/$800mill and northwards to start with? Not very high in my opinion
Hence for this reason and this is my opinion I believe theyll look at low plant size and once cash flow/prepayment is secured or someone sizeable gets onboard (buyout/jv) then they can increase as fit.
Even a 2/3 MTPA to start with makes this project a very compelling one in my opinion - looking at some of the calcs thrown around here
