Also I was just having a look at BHP' s Spence Copper deposit, which looks to me to use a similar overall process, it's an 18.25 Mt mine, with a capital cost of $990 million. Approximately $50M per Mt.
I think $50 M per Mt is a good as a rough ballpark for the process (probably going to be a bit more in practice- wack on an extra 25%-50% for good measure). This does not include the downstream processing to cobalt sulphate.
