In Jan & Feb this year, 7 patients in Taiwan have been treated with sir-spheres for free as part of the trial there.

It is expected that in the second half of this calender year, sales of sir-spheres will start to make earning contribution to Synmosa Biopharm who has a licensing agreement with Sirtex.

We will probably see some benefits flow through to Sirtex in the 09 Half Year results.

There are around 10,000 people in Taiwan diagnosed with primary liver cancer each year and only 20 per cent are able to have liver transplantation or surgery.

17% of this market (8,000*1.5*0.17)is equal to Sirtex's total unit sales in 2007. Another indication that Sirtex's current share price is extremely undervalued.
