The simple answer is that America and Europe have had a very mild winter so far. Here in England I have only had one morning when I have needed to de-ice the car. Temps are mainly 7-10 degrees more wet than anything else

The Americans have built up large reserves of oil which have yet to be depleted. Very little snow in the Alps this year I read a week or two back

Net effect no huge demand for oil so the price of oil is dropping which in turn is effecting all the large and mid oil production companies on LSE. TLW's share price is not the worst hit by any means

We will just have to grin and bear it for the time being
