I think you're just playing with words here..A same sex couple can't get married under current laws. Yes ''..Any male or female can get married if they want.." as you say but a male can't marry another male and a female can't marry another female. On moral issues each to their own..Hence, a conscience vote is the fairest way. The Libs previously had a great track record in this regard. Infact, the Libs generally use to let their members cross the floor on issues important to them (e.g. Hall).
