While we wait - still wait - I thought I'd post about beneficiation.

1. This was un unfamiliar word to me until about a year. And for some time I was confused about whether there was 1 word or 2 or 3 in fact with similar spelling, but perhaps meaning the same thing or similar. However I now know there is just 1 word and it's spelt "beneficiation" and acc to the Macq dic it means "the dressing or processing of ores to regulate the size of the product,remove unwanted constituents and improve the quality, purity or assay grade".

It's mainly a mining term and googling tells me it's an American-invented word based on Spanish benefici and/or Latin beneficium - to benefit or profit from.

2. Does anyone have any idea about how Pek's beneficiation is progressing?

3. I've read posts about the process as being expected to be quite straight-forward for Pek. I'd like to learn more about that too.
