From experience, the support on the sell side shuffles around exponentially in the last 30-40mins of trading. A lot of this is manipulation and some are automated bots authorized to perform said action in final hour IMO, they pull their offer or move it further down the line & re-position the trade for the next day.
I think the fundamental change we'll see today is the SP moving forward - as you've just stated. Uncertainty of a retracement after thursday's/friday's gain made investors wait to see what would happen. Quite frankly, we did not budge
