Short answer is yes but.....
Market maker is usually just the generic term used to describe the collective market participants (the larger ones) that control the sp and dictate what the price is doing.
The term "Smart money" is another term used in the same way.

My understanding of how things work is that some will have one plan and others will have another.
Usually that plan entails them making money at our expense
The charts show the outcome of each participants actions & imo is what we see in the recurring patterns.

Us smaller retailers have very little impact and are the lemmings that keep the wolves fed.
