Over the past 3 days have been treated to one of the more entertaining soapies watching traders unravel and going feral. Chasing pips day in day out seems to have landed many of them in swampland where they belong, Are they at all aware what a stock market is? It is a place where investment capital is raised to fund companies and in turn promote economic growth. Long term holders are of this mindset. They focus on fundamentals.
Despite trying to turn their craft into a science S/T's and D/T's in particular are just punters. A casino mentality. Just like at the race track you have to pick far more winners than losers to stay ahead. Most don't last the distance.
AGY has been a rare opportunity to potentially make a fortune(s) but it will be the L/T's who land them. Some S/T's may/will do ok, but the real money will be made by those who understand what "investment" actually means.
To Billy: your enthusiasm was always commendable but the way you committed hari kari, which being the centrepiece of the soapie, has put your credibility somewhere well behind scratch. Claiming to still be bullish on AGY you might well at some time have to eat humble pie. - a public act of contrition. It will be entertaining how you will try to disguise that. It was all
an exercise in reverse psychology and you came out on top perhaps?
The fatal flaw: "All my posts will be NON positive on AGY..." Conclusion: a) has an agenda, b) has an agenda, and (c) you guessed it - but this time spell it with a capital 'A'.
