Very disappointing finish today (piss poor), but understandable...
1. Market waiting for tonight to see if the DOW really has stabilized; the ASX was similarly lackluster.
2. Today's announcement was only slightly better than a routine progress report.
3. We saw no real demand or volume. Until momentum builds, AGY will remain a market manipulator's play thing.
4. Only two announcements matter now, a full JORC Resource Estimate (or the threat of one) and proof that the process can produce Battery Grade product.
5. In my humble opinion we won't see a take off agreement until after we start selling product.

The good news is that AGY continues to demonstrate that it is ON TRACK.

Better than that, their approach to a careful drill program and looking to maximize the potential outcome of the resource estimate continues to verify the caliber of the AGY team.

From a short term trader's perspective (those looking for a short term uplift), tomorrow will be very telling. It takes a day for big investors to get around to looking at announcements (make a couple of phone calls) and plan their next move. We could easily see the arrival of a big investor or two wanting to accumulate a large position, a bunch of enthusiastic retail investors isn't going to do much.

Could be a happy valentine's day.
