If one watches the markets long enough you learn that things often do the opposite of what you expect, in turn catching many people out, I suppose this is true especially in the context of AGY this week. Many here anticipated some confirmation to come out Monday but instead were pleasantly greeted with a Stage 2 update instead. Tuesday came with a Due Diligence extension and a Patersons site visit report. The DD extension should have been enough knock a bit of love off the SP but what we saw during the week was the complete opposite, We reached new highs on the intraday twice! This was beyond surprising. So what happened and why?

Seems quite clear that we have some Chinese fund or funds accumulating since Jerko and Alex completed the road show, They haven't slowed down as we are still doing some similar volume to last week. The relevance of this is important as the big money crowd must see substantial value in AGY at the 20c mark to justify the continued buy up even after the added risk of a due diligence extension.. Unless.. possibly it was done on purpose to allow time for more accumulation. It is my opinion that this is what happened, I don't think Mr Qi would jeopardise circa $30m in investment profit because of some translations. The scenario just doesn't add up. QQ was quick to transfer the $750,000 deposit but now at day 30 there is a delay with translating documents etc? no way. The volume and fund buying this week says it all and in my opinion we will see DD completion no later than Friday.

Seeing as this is the prediction thread I better make one: 70c by March 2018.

I think everybody can see AGY is one of those 1 in a 1000 ASX stocks that defy all expectation.

We're moving in the EVlution, and most predictions here are simply based on Rincon stages 1-3, plus the ??? Marks on our JV in china.

Anything is possible with this team at the helm incl. Pablo. Fast forward to 2020-2025... we could very well have several 10-15kpa operations around the lithium triangle... there is my bullishness speaking! A major miner rarely has 1 good operation, they develop many, in different areas, all creating tremendous value.
