You are right, Iceman, the reason given by Minister Roberts, for suspension of the license is lack of adequate community consultation and is not related to the ICAC matter. The Minister said he had NOT been briefed by the police! He quoted lack of public understanding of the gas well proposal being an issue. I'm sure this would continue no matter how much consultation takes place. So it will be interesting to see Henderson's response to-day. I should imagine he will not be planning a public meeting in Lismore Town Hall! The Minister seemed concerned over the protesters cleaning up when they leave and appeared to think they are on the property of the proposed drilling.
