You're reminding me of the Fitzgerald Inquiry of the 70s Jonah. Some Ministers of the Crown, Terry Lewis for example, were gaoled. And Premier Joh himself was famously unable to answer a question about what he understood about the legal doctrine of the separation of powers (of govt and the judiciary).
But this is Queensland we're talking about and the question now is; Has anything changed?
Which brings to mind something that might be of interest to the "Royayres Inquiry". The (former) Bligh govt minister, Gordon Nuttal, currently doing time, has indicated he knows where a few bodies are buried and might be prepared to talk. Wonder if he'd talk to you Roy?
