Not sure, I have been trying to understand why the CP period was extended. My only thought was that they wanted a couple of month more trading data.

But as many on HC said what would another two month data mean when buying such a long term asset.

Only other thought is the buyer might not have had the money, maybe more difficult to raise the money than they thought. So if the purchaser pulled out the "deposit" would not have to be repaid.

In the end only a few know...
