Under the circumstances, that sounds like a good analogy.

I have always suspected that this Recap would be pushed to the doors of VA and that the recap was actually a "prepack going concern in VA" rather than a takeover or a liquidation per se.

All the associated players manoeuvrings and expressions of interest in certain assets and methods of acquiring or disposing or side stepping those assets has made it abundantly clear who is going to end up with what even if the vote is rejected and the already packaged parcel is delivered into VA and then liquidation as the vultures stand ready for even better pickings.

My thoughts are that BAM will end up winning very nicely either way, and they have positioned themselves very professionally from the start.
