ifandwhen, the expert obviously has obligations to be objective and while I've read a lot of opinions over the years which made me question the real independence, these days I think an expert would want to be pretty careful to be able to back up their claims. There's a lot of attention on this particular transaction and no doubt class action litigators would be studying the transaction, background and GS expert opinion to see whether there might be some sort of action that could be mounted. All in all, I think GS would want to be pretty careful that they can properly back up their opinion. All I'm asking for is the details so BEPPA holders can make their OWN assessment (on the point of taking 43cents value vis a vis letting the company fold) rather than making the statement and not sufficiently backing it up with anything other than some high level commentary.
