dargie - your death spiral posts were valuable for making risk assessments about BBI, no question, so I wouldn't be at all concerned with those to whom the concept was new....
the only thing I thought about 'death spiral' situations was that true death spiral stocks are deliberately engineered to produce that effect - in other words it's no accident that the base stock is eliminated because that's the aim of issuing the prefs which kill them? (and I'm no expert here)....
anyhow, I really don't want to open that can of worms again - just to say that I always thought your drawing attention to the possibility was very useful....
