I can't help but wonder if Gladys was "pushed" or resigned voluntary. It would stand to reason that if it was voluntary she would have step aside as premier but remained a MP. However to resign as premier and as a MP causing a by election seems to be a minor rebuke to her colleagues especially as "Ms Berejiklian conceded her shock announcement comes amid some of the "darkest days in the state's history". Hardly a move to keep government stable in NSW
