There will be close links with Germany - same political ideas - Pro Immigrant - Pro EU (they want more money from the EU for taking Immigrants) - and I suspect there will be an Anti-Atom-Energy sentiment, like in Germany. I dont know about USA, but I guess there is not a VERY big difference between an American from Idaho or from Oregon. Feel free to correct me. In Europe there are HUGE differencies between the single peoples. Hundreds of years of different history. Now about Poland. I invested in Prairie cause fundamentals are very good, excellent tenement, excellent management. I didnt consider the country risk. As I stated in another post its quite typical for polish politics to lure money into the country in the first step, then deny the rights (there was a lame excuse for non granting the rights cause of environmental concerns) All that was done to destroy the shareprice so a local company will be able to buy Prairie much cheaper. That kind of "Help" for local - state-owned companies with shady arguments by polish authorities - thats what you better expect if you invest in Poland. And thats what I had to learn. Same happened to EFE, they tried to start a cobalt-mine in Poland, in the meantime they are looking for a cobalt-prospect in Australia. Good decision.

Good post, thanks Romacker. One should never underestimate the corrupt and inept behaviour of governments. BKY - potentially big risks, potentially big rewards. Visibility isn't great. It's a punt.
