HC Berlin Pharma AG: Ottmar W. Geiger resigns for health reasons from his Executive Board mandate
Berlin, May 5, 2010 HC Berlin Pharma AG, a company listed on the Open Market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, today announced that Dipl.-Kfm. Ottmar W. Geiger has resigned as CEO of HC Berlin Pharma AG for urgent health reasons with effect of May 3, 2010.
Mr. Geiger belonged to the company since its foundation in 2007 as CEO. Under his guidance the strategic direction of the HC Berlin Pharma AG was decisively formed and the company was successfully listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in 2008.
Dr. Roland K. Wildner took over Mr. Geigers assignments with effect of May 4, 2010. Dr. Wildner belonged to the company since its foundation as member of the Supervisory Board and as Chairman of the Advisory Board since October 2008.
Dr. Wildner held the position as Managing Director within the Lurgi Group, a leading international technology company operating in the field of process engineering and plant contracting. Today Dr. Wildner is working as Senior Consultant for various companies in Europe and Asia and he has extensive management background for the international business.
The management of the HC Berlin Pharma AG will continue the growth process of the still young pharmaceutical company in the market and will further develop and expand the already achieved results particularly in the fight against Malaria with the innovative product ArTiMist.
