Two factors worth mentioning are:
Experience and Expertise.
The South African Mining industry has a wealth of experience mining the type of reserve that NKP appears to possess. Not only is the platinum miming industry well established but the expertise required to mine the ore is very similar to that required to mine the gold reefs.
In my book big ticks for Experience and Expertise.
So what am I saying? My opinion is that if the resource exists, then I feel it will be successfully mined.
Does the resource exist. I feel that there is a good chance that it does. I believe that the the geology of the Eastern Lobe of the Bushveld Complex that contains the platinum bearing ore is the same as the Western Lobe that incorporates the well known mines around Rustenburg.
For me, its definitely worth a punt. Of course nothing is certain in life, and you probably wont be reading this post if you expected it.
