.. remember that there is a suspicion that bbankie was generous because he had an idea of what the cpi would say.. namely 'erkkkk!' ... so he gave the markets some support ahead of that and in the process also signalled his intentions.. that is, that he would sacrifice the usd by allowing inflation to get us all by the short and curlies.. but in the process, every time the usd falls it reduces usa foreign debt and makes usa profits earned overseas more valuable and usa companies more competitive in os markets.. all vital strategies cos the usa is rolly rooly stuffed and its obly hope of some sore of economic survival is global growth.. so basically he's postioned the usa to survive at the expense of the rest of the world.. neat trick ..
