Consensus core CPI range 0.2 to 0.3.
Anything in the lower range, say 0.2 will be OK.
IMO it is likely to exceed 0.3 due to very poor leading figures last friday and yesterday. The PPI (less food and energy) was above market expectations at 0.3, this is the second highest figure since Feb 05. Also the import prices reported last Friday were the highest 2 month increases in 16 years ! Even the non petroleum import price of 0.6% was the second highest in the last 18mths (highest was affected by the impact of Katrina).
