I live on the other side of Melbourne to Berwick but my business does alot of work out that way.
It is a new area, basically all new estates built on land which has previously been farmed on.
It has good freeway access into the city and sits around the new eastlink project which has just been completed.
I would think though that the high cost of petrol and interest rates are affecting budgets out that way as I always notice a decline in business when things get tight.
Plenty of young families with two parents working and 1-2 young children.
