I've been reading some published medical research articles as this seems to be a more reliable method for gaining insights into current research projects and clinical trials for CRC protein based blood tests.

This one from researchers at Macquarie University is very interesting (2019). It validates the huge potential of biomarkers. I'm guessing their finding were not progressed to commercialisation because Rhythm Biosciences is such a long way ahead of them having established in 2017 following 13 years of CSIRO research.

I also read in the newspaper that the JP Morgan Health Conference is currently happening in San Francisco. It's a magnet for deals and partnerships. Apparently, the top end of town (Johnson, Pfizer etc) have a $1 trillion cash pile to spend on acquisitions and partnerships because lucrative patents are expiring. ResMed, PolyNovo and Telix are there. So far as I can tell Rhythm did not attend. Perhaps the reason is that they are satisfied with their commercial partnership progress and don't feel the need to spruik Colostat further at this stage. It could disrupt relationships already formed?
