best asx200 result of 2009

Outstanding 1st half result from UGL today. No other ASX100 company or even ASX200 stk will equal it:
Revenue up 48%
NPAT up 29%
Dividend up 21% and it was already above 90% of all ASX stks.

The only caution is that profit growth although continuing will slow in 2nd half to 'lower end of 10-20% range'. But Richard Luepen CEO has a strong history and preference for 'understating and overdelivering.' Certainly a refreshing change from CEOs who promise the earth then fail to deliver.... hiding behind 'world financial catatrosphy.'
