I used to love baked beans as a kid, but went off them in later life. Recently on the advice from a hotcopper unlicenced dietician I have started to eat baked beans with 2 boiled eggs for breakfast and have come to like them again. I was using heinz as I bought them for $1 a can and yesterday I bought coles brand in ham sauce for a $1 a can and they were OK. So now off to Aldi to save a few bucks. I get 3 breakfast out of one can of baked beans; so eggs cost me $3 a dozen; therefore 2 eggs and some baked beans costs me approx 85c plus power to boil
