Ok. I have an account with ANZ, and am considering moving it because I am a bit disturbed by their recent cavalier behaviour. The latter is not the point here, but I thought it would be interesting to get opinions on which is the best banker for a current account.
The following are important:
- not overly exposed to risk
- immediate access to cash
- low fees
- online banking
- ethics
In the UK you can get a current account with NO fees, banks here seem to think they can charge you to lend them money in the form of a current account. Are there any exceptions?
