The main question for cobalt explorers is whether the current price of cobalt, which is attracting investment into such plays, is going to stay this high. I can see the demand side increasing, but in the short term it's the existing producers who will benefit.
There have been a few articles about the supply side, i.e. Co as a byproduct of Ni/Cu mining is hard to ramp up because it is a byproduct. It doesn't seem to be a simple play, or does it? My jury is out.
