little point in predicating what will happen. Just take the best out of the worst sitation.
I already have a heap of houses and lots of associated loans - all of which came out of fixed rate 6.25-6.75 in the last few months.
Fixing again under 5 for 5-7 years is a party throwing situation.
Houses go up and down just like the ASX. Its a 20 year investment. I don't care what they do in the short term - in fact I'm waiting to build 2 units in Dandenong with cheaper credit, and hopefully even cheaper building costs.
