I hold another stock, Mt Gibson Iron (MGX). About 12 months ago, several analysts slapped a sell rating on the stcok on the grounds of short mine life, iron ore cycle was about end and high operating costs. At the time the stock was around 70c. I held on. They're $3.20 at present - got to $3.78 a couple of months ago. Reckons those analysts have the finger on the pulse. I remember some big name analysts having a buy rating on onetel two weeks before the company went pear shape. Hard to believe they make a living from knowing so little.
