Spot on and the US mid term elections are in around 80 days time. There aren’t many positive things that the US government can talk about in the lead up. They have taken credit for the dropping oil price (but never took credit for it rising), they changed the definition of recession and they altered the jobs market numbers to make it appear like it’s going well. People are struggling to survive and need multiple jobs and it’s also people returning to work during summer and post pandemic. All they really have to celebrate is the solid US dollar so no wonder the Fed and their insto buddies are controlling the gold market like they are. The moment the Democrats lose control of the House, watch the rhetoric shift, they will magically be in recession and start shifting blame on the Republicans for the horrible economic situation to try pressure them to get bills passed in the next couple of years. Hopefully the people will be awake to this plan but the past 3 years has woken me up to the fact that most people aren’t too bright.
