Hi mate, I understand you're a LT investor and from what I've seen you have done very well from that so I always respect any input you have on here.
However, not all of us have similar timelines, investment goals or strategies and that's one part of the business investors need to take into account.

If your time horizon is 10yrs+ and your are of the view that gold will go to $2k, $3k or more then it really won't make that much difference if you invest in a solid company like NST when gold price is $1900 or $1600.

But like all commodities, gold moves with the commodity cycles, so it pays to take notice of where we are in the cycle when you are deploying capital. Especially is you are a shorter term investor/trader.

I do believe you can use companies like NST to trade gold as a proxy and the chart below illustrates why.

Like it or not but NST follows the POG and using NST can help you make outsized gains (on pops or drops)

NST is in a very important zone rn so long holders would want to see a bounce.
If you are a LT investor like yourself perhaps there's value in taking a nibble here but there does look to be high probability of further downside.

Bigger picture and it's clear gold has it's own issues with definite near term downside risks.
Obviously everyone has their own strategy and goals so it's up to each individual to decide when the time to buy/sell/trade/invest is.
I know gold price moves isn't what long holders want to see but with each drop comes opportunity, so hopefully the move down is seen as just that.



Anyway, hopefully all of you are making money whatever your strategy is.
