Having lived in Europe for a brief period. Germany, Austria, Switzerland etc... walk into any local bank and gold and silver bullion is available for purchase and resale in the branch networks of most large commercial and savings bank networks.
Even better in Asia. In Shanghai, Hongkong, Singapore etc (even in a poor countries like Philippines, Sri Lanka ) purchasing gold is very convenient via the specific gold districts.
Can't wait for the day when Bullion is prominent in Australian life.
As for the NST share price. I find that whenever a fellow gold miner runs into issues like workforce availability and the like. NST SP gets a bit of a hit from the negative sentiment. The GOR Dec quarter is a shocker. It is now a wait and see if the workforce availability issue runs across the entire gold mining industry.
