I think we can thank Blackrock, Vanguard, State Street and the like. They have bought up large holdings in the gold miners (and other resource stocks) and then short them, driving down price and sentiment. But the thing is, as large shareholders they own the gold. It will ultimately be like holding back the tide, so hang in there. Our day is approaching.
