You can't trust them as far as you can throw them! A very dodgy situation in the USA. Basically, everything they have touched has turned to crap. They have guaranteed a growing global inflationary problem due to their woke agenda against oil and gas from the beginning, ruining relationships everywhere, especially the Middle East & Africa and allowing BRICS to shine and OPEC to have full control of oil markets now. They never even had the chance to replenish their strategic reserves! A bunch of muppets! They have lost the Ukraine conflict due to incompetence, lying and underestimating Russia and their ability to bypass sanctions and did not know about their advanced weapon systems. Remember the CNN and Forbes articles saying they were taking second hand washing machines to find chips for their weapons lol? They attempted to lie to the population about Hamas/Israel and their entire propaganda path has failed due to the demise of mainstream media and growth of citizen journalism and the non-censored twitter (x). Remember the 40 beheaded baby story on CNN lol? They now cannot continue the Israel path because even their own population has woken up to the genocide which is now clear for the world to see. If we were back 5 years ago people would have taken the bait like they did during Covid. So they have now shifted their tactic in relation to Israel and have started attacking Israel directly via rhetoric and have done this openly through the media in recent weeks. Even calling for a ceasefire today. Even though a few months ago they were blatantly supporting Israel and sending weapons daily. They organised a naval group with fancy aircraft carriers to counter the Houthis shipping blockade but they underestimated the Houthis missile threat and had to leave with their tail between their legs and now today they have said that if the Houthis stop, they will take them off the terrorist list. It is all an absolute joke. A failed country and society right now, I think it is too far gone to save as well.
