It appears that the NST share price is no longer anchored to the price of gold, especially when gold price is up. Price of gold is up today and the NST share price is down. The reason often given for this separation from the price of gold is to do with their cost blowouts in mining the gold. Who knows what the real reason is but one thing for sure is that the NST share price will take the elevator down when the gold price is falling.
