it is the common practice now. AGO asx years ago had a share drop from 3.6c to 1.9 and then back to 3c when 4.3c takeover bid was placed the share price went down to 2.8c. It was crazy. The same goes to BSE asx recently.
Not that many gold miners can swallow NST atm. NEM just took over Newcrest so they need time to digest. The share price just dropped back to where Gold was $2,000. It is crazy to think about that the last quarter may well be a stellar run for the company. I never have imagined that the share price would try to close the gap at $10.80. I still have large amount of cash sitting around. It would be in my interest for the shares to go back down to close the gap before close the gap at 14.40.
Gold price is still a bit elevated on the weekly chart. I guess we will probably see nothing very exciting for the next 2 months before another attempt to make another all time high.
