Yes there has definitely been a disconnect between the NST share price and price of gold in the past few months. Back on the 19th April, the NST share price had an intraday peak of $16 on a day where the spot gold price was $2390 USD/oz.
Today the spot price is higher at $2407 USD/oz whilst the NST share price is almost 15% lower at $13.70. Unless people are in the know of some bad news coming out soon to do with their mining operations or hedging, then current share price does not stack up.
