So why can the US do as they please but the rest of the world cannot? I am by no means a fan of Iran but the US always shows the ultimate hypocrisy no matter what president is in control. Their economy is heavily reliant on warfare so of course they act as they do.
Right now is a totally different era. The US are no longer the powerhouse they once were. Of course they are still powerful, but not leaps and bounds above the rest of the world like they were in recent history. Many countries have caught up to them and countries like Iran cannot be underestimated, especially since they are a key pillar of BRICS and have enormous military and economic leverage from China and Russia, 2 other global powerhouses.
A diplomatic end to this would be in everyone’s best interests. However I think US and Israeli arrogance will ensure that does not take place. A lot of money to be made from another war too.
