Goodness … looked in to catch up on what I may have missed on NST. I haven’t missed a thing it seems.
After looking for a home in Sydney for the past six months, I think we need to re-educate people as to who the ‘rich’ also are in this day and age. The amount of $3M plus houses in and around Sydney across tens of suburbs, ordinary houses in many circumstances is astounding. A lot of these home owners would be on pensions, some with small superannuation balances. Many people don’t care too much for those ‘rich’ people with $3M plus super balances but if you apply the same criteria to those targeted by this new super tax to all these home owners, then they too are ‘rich’.
Now, re NST, glad to remain over $21 today … just.
