Five years seems a modest timeline for a good size HEMI gold mine to be operational, especially when all the environmental stuff is still in process, yet some freak out as if this is an absurd concept. 'Hey, just go down to Bunnings and buy an operational goldmine, Aisle 7, bin 5. Too easy!'
Even the restarting of existing mines seems to be a multi-year process, let alone starting from scratch. Look how long the expansion is taking on the superpit, and that is in 'engineering-central', with an experienced labour force in every local pub.
This HEMI timeline might even be a bonus, gold might be $US10,000 by then!
