Generally speaking, it is a much harder process here in the east coast compared to the west. So I don't think the whole McPhillmy episode is going to manifest itself on the Hemi project. As far as mining goes WA is the most mining friendly state in Australia. Tas being the worst!
At the end of the day it is specific to Mcphils. It is strict thanks to NCM. The combative stance on Mcphils environment approval has its roots on the long running neighbouring Cadia environmental issues. TSF Dam wall collapse, Tailing dust etc.
