Actually it does, because the Cook Labor government is very pro development and WA was pivotal to the federal Labor government in being re-elected this year. In fact they launched their re-election campaign in WA that's how important it is to them. Usually it's in Qld or an eastern state. So I see WA needs with being pro mining as central to federal Labor attitudes as they are both pro development, as part of federal Labor staying onside with state Labor.
