I used to be very skeptical of charters, and tech analysis, but now take a bit of notice .... I doubt it will ever be a favoured tool for me, but there must be some standards and guiding parameters governing an accepted framework.

The world is full of people trying to influence other people (not just on stock markets, but in demography, science, medicine/pharma etc) using graphs with truncated axes and contrived data spans.
