well the war is far from over, they have taken most of the east now and will eventually work their way back towards kyiv as they continue shoring up land and accumulating territory and cutting Ukraine supply lines. There is even talk from one of the Russian generals that Moldova was next on the list. No doubt gold will continue gaining strength on the back of this war, but mainly due to inflationary concerns and EU and USA overspending.
