Low to midcap Goldie is not where the value proposition is. But if you have an explorer with JORC oz in their books and close to one of the NST production centres. It will get snapped up. The recent STK deal is a good example of this.
- NST + Millrose (STK asset near Jundee): $187/oz (+1.5 million fully paid ordinary NST shares) at 346koz gold (at a grade of 1.80g/t).
When you have cash and cashflow then you have time on your hands to wait. No rush on this. Also at this point you really don't want NST to buy midcap or lower producers. They are more trouble than they are worth, apart from 1 or 2. Either they will not move the needle on the NAV. You want NST to have Superpit+ type asset in their sights to build or acquire.
